Unfortunately I was not able to see my purchase when I got to the memorial service as the church staff had taken the cards away from all of the floral arrangements. I would love to be able to see a photo of it to be able to give you a nice review. The ordering process online was very simple and the updates as to when my delivery was made were timely and appreciated. ---- Florist's Response: Amy, thank you for your review and sharing your experience. In respect to sympathy arrangements, we take added steps to respect a customers privacy and space during a time of grief. Ideally, we'd prefer to take a photo at delivery, however some locations accompany a greater challenge due to the connected event combined with increased visibility. Each arrangement is identified with a sympathy note when it goes out for delivery, but following delivery the various locations manage the process differently. Sympathy orders can be particularly sensitive, so we typically provide photos of the arrangement when there is advance notation in the instructions. We do this to reduce intrusion during a time of grief. We can however (moving forward) take photos of each sympathy order prior to delivery, and forward to the customer should a request be made later. In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
